Here is a pick of path that Miss Tisdall created. She created as an example for us to then create our own. Have a go and see how far through the story you get.

Length Problem Solving

For the past two weeks Mamaku 2 have been focussing on problem solving and finding the equation from a word problem. At first we found this rather tricky, because we had to really focus on what the problem was asking us. Miss Tisdall gave us problems every week so we could practise and get better. Below you will find one of the problems she gave us, have a go and see if you can work it out.

Book Character Day

This week Mamaku 2 have partook in Book Character week. We focussed on Harry Potter and create a door to represent this in our classroom which we are all really proud of. On Thursday we got to dress up in our favourite book characters, here are a few from our class. Lets see if you can guess what book we are from?

Friday Afternoons

Mamaku 2 are having awesome Friday afternoons this term as we playing board games working on our key competencies. We are learning to be persistent, play fair, get along and talk if there is a disagreement.

Truck Safety

Last week Mamaku 2 were luck enough to be provided with the opportunity to visit the Safety Man Road Truck Safety portable classroom. They were really interesting and provided us with some awesome tips on how to stay safe on the road around trucks. We learnt about there blindspots and the under current they create when driving. The students really enjoyed the visit and being able to check out the inside of the truck. We hope they come back in the future.
