Truck Safety

Last week Mamaku 2 were luck enough to be provided with the opportunity to visit the Safety Man Road Truck Safety portable classroom. They were really interesting and provided us with some awesome tips on how to stay safe on the road around trucks. We learnt about there blindspots and the under current they create when driving. The students really enjoyed the visit and being able to check out the inside of the truck. We hope they come back in the future. ANZAC Day

This week M2 has been looking at ANZAC. We used padlet as a way to create a brainstorm together about what we knew about ANZAC Day and then another for the questions we would like to find out. There will be more ANZAC to come so stay tuned! :)

School Writing Kit

Over the past two weeks my students have had a fabulous time creating poems and learning the definition of "sticky words." Thank you so much school kit, it has been a blast. We are looking forward to receiving another schools poems and sending ours away.
