Welcome to our class blog. We are a class of Year 5 and 6 students in the Mamaku Hub at Grey Main School in Greymouth, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Out teacher is Miss Tisdall.
Kia ora Mamuka 3, Thanks for sharing your learning about fractions. This is a great DLO to show others how to do fractions and also to record your learning. I noticed these fraction thinkboards on another Tuhi Mai Tui Atu learner's blog. Do you think you would like to have a go at creating a thinkboard to share your learning too? Keep up the great work. NgΔ mihi Tania
Hi Tania, I would like to know how a think board works, I like the way that these slides help the tamariki to work out which fraction is which ie numerator and denominator. We will be doing fractions this term, so if my tamariki can make up some slides like these, we could practice tuakana/teina in a very meaningful way. Thanks for sharing this Miss Tisdall, tino reka mahi.
Hi, its Henry from WBS. I loved your slide. I bet it would be very helpful for people who did not know there fractions. Who made the slide?Keep up the great work. From Henry
